Holy Communion is celebrated every Sunday at 8.00am.

At 9.30am there is either Parish Communion, Sung Mattins or a Family Service.

In addition to the Sunday services, a said service of Holy Communion is held most Thursdays at 10:15am.

 

Events 

St Nicholas’ Church is the focal point for many events and activities, both within the local community and the wider church. 

Activities

Pre-School Praise – For young children and their carers.  Worship, craft, music and refreshments.  Normally first Thursday of the month 1.30 – 2.30 pm.

NicsMix –.  Activities, music and learning for children.  Second Sunday of the month at 9.30 am.

Venture Week - An annual week of activities, held during the first week of August, for children up to 14 years.

Mothers' Union – First Wednesday of each month

Bellringers – The Practice night is Tuesday evening between 7.30 - 9pm.

Parish News

As well as a weekly news sheet we publish ‘Parish News’, a monthly magazine which may be obtained from the church or delivered to most houses in the parish (Contact Mrs Campen - email vidacampen@googlemail.com.) This contains details of all church activities.

Articles for the Parish News may be left in the basket at the back of the church. See “Events” for next copy date.
